What it is
You register GlobalSign Atlas as a Certificate Authority in TigerTrust using your Atlas API credentials. Once registered, the CA appears in the issuer dropdown for any certificate template or automation rule. TigerTrust handles the API calls to GlobalSign for ordering and status polling, and surfaces the resulting certificates in your inventory with full expiry monitoring and renewal automation. The GlobalSign Atlas integration is available in this release for CA registration and connection testing. Automated certificate ordering and revocation flows are in active development and will be available in a follow-on release. You can register the CA and validate connectivity today.
When to use it
- Centralize management of publicly-trusted TLS certificates issued through your GlobalSign Atlas contract alongside certificates from other CAs.
- Use TigerTrust renewal automation to replace manually-tracked GlobalSign certificate expiry reminders.
- Apply consistent certificate templates and policies across GlobalSign-issued and internally-issued certificates.
- Give teams access to GlobalSign issuance without distributing Atlas API credentials individually.
Set it up
Gather your Atlas credentials
Locate your GlobalSign Atlas API key, API secret, account ID, and certificate profile ID from the GlobalSign Atlas portal.
Add a new CA
Go to Certificate Authorities > Add and select GlobalSign Atlas from the CA type dropdown.
Enter your credentials
Fill in the API key, API secret, account ID, and certificate profile ID. The API URL defaults to the EMEA endpoint — update it if your account is on a different regional endpoint.
Test the connection
Click Test connection. TigerTrust verifies API reachability and credential validity. A green confirmation means the CA is ready to use.
What you’ll see
After saving, the CA appears on the Certificate Authorities page with type GlobalSign Atlas and the last connection test result. You can update credentials or run a connection test again at any time from the CA detail page.Related
